What is an AI agent for a business?
An AI agent is like a digital staff member who does a repeating job for you. Your agent reads what comes in, like a customer message, an invoice or a booking, works out what to do, and does it in apps you already use. You do not need to press anything, and your agent asks you whenever something is unclear.

What an AI agent does day to day
Each agent is built for one kind of job. Common ones are jobs that eat a week:
- Replying to repeat customer questions on WhatsApp
- Typing invoices and receipts into a spreadsheet
- Chasing late payments with polite reminders
- Confirming bookings and sending reminders
- Checking stock and supplier prices, and telling you about changes
- Writing a plain-words report every Monday
What you need to start
Nothing technical. You show work that repeats, in a short chat on WhatsApp. Your agent is made around that work, in apps you already have, and you see your agent at work before launch.
When an AI agent is not a good fit
If a job is completely different every time, or needs your own judgement every time, an AI agent will not save you much. You will hear that on your first call. A quick, honest no beats wasting your time.
More questions
- Do I need to know anything about AI?
- No. You know your business. That is what matters.
- Will my staff have to learn something new?
- No. Your agent works in the background, in tools your staff already use.
